1. I forgot my password. How can I find out what it was?

 

Ans: If you forgot your password, click on the "Forgot your Password?" link on the PlanMixer Log In page. On the Forgot Your Password page, type in the email address you used to register with PlanMixer and click "Get Password." PlanMixer will send the requested information to that email account.

If you do not appear to receive a password sent to your address, please check a few places in your account. Check your 'Junk' or 'Spam' folders to see if the message was accidentally filtered there (not uncommon with web mail clients like Hotmail or Yahoo). Also, by adding 'planmixer@planmixer.com' to your address book or list of known senders you should keep the password message from being accidentally filtered as spam.

 


 

2. Who Can Send Me Messages?

 

Ans. Every member will always be able to make a Friend Request. If you would like to not receive messages from any member, you can block the user.

4. How do I post a plan?

Ans. Go to your home page, you will see the box on the top where you can enter your plan and you can type up to 150 characters. Then please click this button: (announce button here)

 


 

5. How can I make PlanMixer my homepage?

Ans. If you are using IE:
Under the "Tools" menu, click "Internet Options".
Click on the "General" tab.
Type "http://www.planmixer.com" in the text box, then OK.

If you are using Firefox:
Under the "Tools" menu, click "Options".
Click the "General" tab.
Type "http://www.planmixer.com" in the text box, then OK.

If you are using Firefox or Safari for the Mac:

Click on "Firefox" in the top left corner and select "Preferences".

If you are not already on the "General" tab, click "General".
Type "http://www.planmixer.com" in the "Location" area.
Click the "Enter" button on your keyboard then close the "Preferences" window.

If you are using Netscape 7.0:

Under the "Edit" menu, click "Preferences".

Under the "Home page" section, in the "Home page location" text box, type "http://www.planmixer.com".
Click "OK."

 


 

6. How can I hide my year of birth on my profile?

Ans. When you signed up on PlanMixer, you were required to enter your date of birth but also had an option to check the box to hide the year of birth to display on the profile. But if you didn’t check the box during sign up, you can still hide your year or birth or complete age details by going to ‘edit profile’ and selecting ‘hide my age’

 


 

7. What types of photos can I to upload to my profile?

Ans. In general, your primary photo should be of yourself and recognizable. Other photos should be relevant to your profile. All photos on PlanMixer are subject to review and removal. Offensive content is not permitted. This includes nudity and hateful images. Also not permitted are copyrighted images. Posting of improper images may result in your profile being suspended temporarily or permanently.

PLEASE NOTE: PORNOGRAPHIC OR OTHER OFFENSIVE IMAGES MAY CAUSE YOUR PROFILE TO BE SUSPENDED IMMEDIATELY AND WITHOUT WARNING.

 


 

8. How can I edit my profile?

 

Ans. You may edit your profile at any time. To do this, mouse over "Profile" on any page within PlanMixer, select and click "edit profile" from the drop down menu. If the changes you made do not immediately appear in your profile, wait a few minutes and then click on "Refresh" or "Reload" on your web browser. Because of system updates, profile changes can take some time to appear.

 


 

9. How do I delete a comment on my profile?

 

Ans. From your profile page, click on "X" next to the comment if you want to delete the comment.

 


 

10. What is the maximum number of characters that can put on my comments, plan box, message?

 

Ans. Comments = characters.

Plan Box: 150 characters

messages = Unlimited

 


 

11. How do I change my password?

 

Answer
To change your account password:
1.) Click on the “Settings” located at the top right of any page.
2.) Under Personal Information, click on “Change Password.”
3.) Type your old password, then type a new password twice.
4.) Click on “Save.”

13. Can I block a user?

 

Ans: Yes. Please click ‘block’ and you will not get any messages, comments, or any activity in your account from the profile you blocked.

 


 

14. What’s the minimum age to sign up on PlanMixer?

 

Ans: In order to be eligible to sign up for PlanMixer, users must be thirteen (13) years of age or older.

 


 

15. How do I add friends to grow my network?

Answer

There are a lot of different ways to add friends to your network.

First, you can Invite people you know to join PlanMixer. If they accept your invitation they will be added to your network of friends.

Second, you can perform a User Search to look up existing PlanMixer members by name or email address. If you find the person you are looking for you can choose to add them as a friend. They will be added if they accept your friend request.

Third, you can accept friend request/s sent to you by other PlanMixer member/s. You will see this in the "Announcements" box on the top right of the homepage.

Lastly you can request to add someone as a friend while viewing their profile by clicking on the "Add friend" link on their profile.

 


 


16. What does ‘mix’ link on my homepage under each plan mean?

 

Ans. You can mix your plans with any plan. If you like a plan and would like to be a part of it and are not already, click ‘mix’ and your name/photo will be shown under that plan.

 


 

17. Why do I see photos under plans?

 

Ans. Because users are doing the same plan. For instance, if your friend is playing Golf and you have the similar plan on your shoutout box, it uses the ‘Golf’ keyword and shows you the friends that have a similar plan or ‘Golf’ in their plan. If you simply have a plan: I’m hungry! And another friend in your network has: Want to eat because I am hungry. You both will see each other’s photos as you are both hungry and plan or may plan to eat. You both don’t have to be in the same country.
